Her middle grade titles include At Your Service, the You're Invited series (co-written with Gail Nall), and next year's The Sleepover, all with Simon & Schuster/Aladdin. Her Young Adult titles (with HarperCollins/HarperTeen) include Map to the Stars and the forthcoming Wanderlost. Jen's a former Hollywood movie executive who once spent a year traveling the world solo, met her husband on the highway (literally), and went into labor with her identical twins while on a rock star's tour bus. What you'll get if you win: Up for auction is a one-hour
Skype author visit for your elementary or middle school classroom. Jen is an
Author-in-Residence for a Boston-area middle school and for the Girl Scouts of
Eastern Massachusetts, who also does frequent school visits and
can deliver a program to meet Common Core standards on an assortment
of writing/publishing topics. In addition, Jen will send a copy of her MG
title At Your Service to the classroom.
Alison Green Myers writes young adult novels, the scarier the better. While my voice pleases the young adult crowd, my eye wanders to picture book design in my studies and instruction. I am a National Writing Fellow and an ARA for Eastern Pennsylvania’s chapter of SCBWI. I also work with the Highlights Foundation to plan and facilitate writers’ workshops at their Northeastern Pennsylvania retreat center and I contribute regularly to the Foundation's blog.
