Auction Donor: Shen Hart is a developmental editor with many years experience. Shen has worked with everyone from first time author's first drafts, through to experienced authors. References are available upon request. 

Donation Item:

One full developmental editing pass on a manuscript up to 120,000 words long. Any genre as long as no rape is present within the text. 

What you'll get if you win:

One full pass includes notes on everything from pacing, consistency, character voice and development, to world building, and much more. It also includes chapter write-ups and one larger write-up for the story as a whole. The overall tone is one of asking questions, and offering suggestions to help make the story as good as it can be. 

I write speculative fiction, and have more experience with that and thrillers than anything, but I'm happy to work with any genre as long as there's no rape. All other blood, gore, violence etc is completely fine. 

I use Word with track-changes and comments for the actual edits.
